Our hotel is generally open throughout the year. We take a short seasonal break for approximately two weeks, usually four to five weeks after Easter (typically in April or May). You can check our exact opening dates, current availability, and room categories at any time via our online booking page.

Our expansive wellness sanctuary is designed for deep relaxation and holistic well-being. It features five distinct saunas, five themed relaxation rooms, and a soothing saltwater steam bath. The outdoor experience is centered around our year-round heated energy pool, a cold and warm water circuit, and an idyllic garden with a natural swimming pond and sunbathing lawn.

We currently welcome guests of all ages to our hotel. Please note, however, that from June 2026, we will be transitioning to a new concept and will operate Holzleiten exclusively as an adults-only hotel.

We are a boutique nature hideaway featuring just 45 rooms. This intimate scale allows us to provide a deeply personal and attentive level of service. This private atmosphere is perfectly complemented by our award-winning spa area, designed to exceed every expectation. Look forward to a variety of saunas, a saltwater steam bath, a year-round heated outdoor pool, and a serene natural swimming pond set within our gardens

Your room will be ready for you starting at 14:00 on the day of arrival. However, you are most welcome to arrive as early as 12:00 to begin your holiday early and enjoy full use of our wellness area free of charge.

We kindly ask that you vacate your room by 11:00. If you are staying with us for two nights or longer, you are welcome to enjoy the spa facilities and our afternoon buffet free of charge until 16:00 on your day of departure.

For stays of one night, an additional fee of €20 per person applies for this extended wellness experience. We provide comfortable changing rooms on-site, allowing you to refresh and prepare for your journey home.

Your stay includes the Holzleiten gourmet half board plus, offering a complete organic culinary experience. This features an extensive breakfast buffet, light lunch and afternoon snacks, and an exquisite 5-course menu of your choice in the evening. Furthermore, you enjoy full access to our spacious wellness area – including the heated outdoor pool, natural swimming pond, various saunas, and saltwater steam bath – as well as use of the fitness room and our guided exercise programme. Does Hotel Holzleiten have a fitness room, and what are the opening hours?

Yes, we offer a modern fitness studio equipped with high-quality Technogym equipment. For your workout, we provide a variety of cardio and strength options, including a treadmill, exercise bike, ergometer, and cross trainer, as well as a multi-functional strength training tower. For your entertainment, the room is also equipped with an LED flat-screen TV.

Our fitness facilities are available daily from 07:00 to 21:30.

Yes, Hotel Holzleiten offers an extensive activity programme designed for movement and well-being. The activity programme includes:

• All year round: Use of our fitness room with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and a supervised exercise programme led by a wellness trainer.
• In summer: Walking, guided hikes, Nordic walking, cycling, horse riding, and access to an 27-hole golf course (our guest receive 20% discount on greenfees). Guests also enjoy complimentary use of our tennis court.
• In winter: Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and tobogganing.

The following rental services are also offered:

• Complimentary rental: Hiking poles, toboggans, snowshoes, Nordic walking poles, tennis rackets, and balls.
• For a fee: Mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes are available for rent.

Yes, we provide ample complimentary parking for our guests directly at the hotel; no reservation is required. For guests arriving with electric vehicles, we offer five e-charging stations with an 11 kW charging capacity, available for a fee.

No, you can enjoy a completely car-free holiday at Hotel Holzleiten. Thanks to the included Welcome Card for our region, you can leave your car parked. A public bus stop is located directly outside our front door, and your guest card entitles you to unlimited, complimentary travel between Innsbruck and Holzleiten, as well as throughout the entire region.

The journey from Munich and Garmisch via the Fernpass to Obsteig/Holzleiten is typically toll-free (no vignette required). However, if you are traveling via the Austrian A12 motorway from the direction of Innsbruck or Arlberg, a valid motorway toll sticker is mandatory.

Our gourmet half board includes the following:

Generous breakfast buffet: Featuring high-quality organic products from 07:30 to 10:30.

Lunch & afternoon buffet: Available from 13:30 to 16:30, including a selection of soups, fresh salads, and our signature homemade strudels and cakes.

Drinks: Enjoy a range of juices, coffee, and an extensive tea selection throughout the day from 10:00 to 18:00.

Evening gourmet dinner: A sophisticated 5-course menu including a raw food buffet and local cheese selection. Choose between three different main courses and various starters.

Special dietary requirements: Our kitchen team is delighted to prepare vegetarian and vegan alternatives upon request. While we do not offer specialized medical diet cuisine, we are happy to accommodate your needs. Please inform us of any requirements when booking so we may perfectly prepare for your stay.

For guests staying with us for two nights or more, the afternoon buffet is included on your day of departure as a complimentary service. If you are staying for only one night, you are welcome to enjoy the buffet in combination with continued use of the spa area for a flat rate of €20 per person.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck (INN), located approximately 45 kilometres from Hotel Holzleiten. Upon request, we are happy to arrange a transfer for you (subject to a fee, more information at Location & Directions).

Yes, of course. We offer specially designated rooms in our “Wanneck” and “Grünstein” categories for guests traveling with well-mannered pets. We charge EUR 30 per day per dog (excluding food).

To ensure a relaxing environment for all, we kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the wellness area or on the sunbathing lawns. If you would like your dog to accompany you during meals, please inform us upon arrival; we have created a cozy, designated dining area adjacent to our hotel lounge specifically for this purpose.
