Our hotel is generally open throughout the year. We take a short seasonal break for approximately two weeks, usually four to five weeks after Easter (typically in April or May). We currently welcome guests of all ages to our hotel. Please note, however, that from June 2026, we will be transitioning to a new concept and will operate Holzleiten exclusively as an adults-only hotel.

We are a boutique nature hideaway featuring just 45 rooms. This intimate scale allows us to provide a deeply personal and attentive level of service. This private atmosphere is perfectly complemented by our award-winning spa area, designed to exceed every expectation. Look forward to a variety of saunas, a saltwater steam bath, a year-round heated outdoor pool, and a serene natural swimming pond set within our gardens

Your room will be ready for you starting at 14:00 on the day of arrival. However, you are most welcome to arrive as early as 12:00 to begin your holiday early and enjoy full use of our wellness area free of charge.

We kindly ask that you vacate your room by 11:00. If you are staying with us for two nights or longer, you are welcome to enjoy the spa facilities and our afternoon buffet free of charge until 16:00 on your day of departure.

For stays of one night, an additional fee of €20 per person applies for this extended wellness experience. We provide comfortable changing rooms on-site, allowing you to refresh and prepare for your journey home.

No, a deposit is not required at the time of booking. However, for last-minute reservations, we may ask for your credit card details simply to serve as a guarantee for your stay.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation conditions are as follows:

• Up to 21 days before arrival: Cancellation is free of charge.
• 21 to 7 days before arrival: A fee of 50% of the total package price applies.
• Within 7 days of arrival: A fee of 70% of the total package price applies.
• Late arrival, early departure, or no-show: 100% of the total booked stay will be charged.

Our recommendation: To protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, we recommend taking out travel insurance. Through our partner, Europäische Reiseversicherung, you can secure comprehensive coverage for approximately 5% of your package price. Our reception team will be happy to assist you with the details.
